Spanish striker Braulio Nobrega has had stints in the Primera Liga with Atletico Madrid and Real Zaragoza, and now he has signed for Johor Darul Takzim

Spaniard Braulio Nobrega was unveiled in the Johor Darul Takzim camp at the Larkin Stadium as their latest signing for the Southern Tigers this morning to their loyal fans.

Nobrega is a striker who has had playing stints with Atletico Madrid and Real Zaragoza in the Spanish Primera Liga.

The 27-year-old recently finished his contract with Hercules in the Spanish second division where he made 14 appearances while finding the net five times.

However, it was not revealed how much the Johor Football Association paid for his signature but he would more than likely form a pairing with the club’s other recent signing Pablo Aimar in attack.

This brings into question the role that Leonel Nunez will play for the Southern Tigers as rumours of his departure from the club continue to spread.

Nobrega’s contractual term with JDT was also not disclosed.

The Johor side began their 2013 Malaysia Cup campaign on Tuesday night against PKNS FC and lost 2-0 in the Group B match.

Darul Takzim will take on Felda United in their next match which is scheduled for an 8.45pm kickoff at the Larkin Stadium on Saturday.
